Copywriter

Our copywriters work with clients and the design team to determine the direction for projects and create clear, concise and compelling presentations.

Responsibilities

  • Working with clients to establish the core message and target audience
  • Brainstorming visual and copy ideas with the design team
  • Constructing coherent storyboards from client’s source material and communicating them to the client
  • Refining the source material to be direct, concise, and optimized for presentations
  • Researching and writing copy for internal projects, such as blog posts and infographics

Desired skills and experience

  • 2 to 3 years of agency or freelance copywriting experience
  • Diploma / Degree in advertising, design or related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Skilled in writing clear, concise and gramatically correct copy
  • Ability to use language styles that appeal to various target markets
  • Able to provide direction and learn about clients’ products or services
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Interest in visual storytelling and conceptualization
  • Able to work under pressure and manage workloads effectively
  • Written and verbal skill in French is an asset
